Will Smith photobomb
In a hilarious moment during the game, sports reporter Craig Sager, clad in a loud pink plaid suit, leaned toward the pair and waved for cameras as they focused on the father-and-son duo just as sportscaster Marv Albert introduced the pair.
Just one day before, the Smith men sat down with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres to clarify rumors that Jaden, 14, was looking to be emancipated from his parents on his 15th birthday on July 8.
"See, here's the thing that you need to understand: I'm not going anywhere," the Karate Kid actor told DeGeneres. "The thing that people don't get is everything at this house is free! So I can get anything and everything at his house, so I'm going to be there 20, 30 more years."
"He says as soon as I have a movie that's bigger than one of his movies, I can get my own house," he continued jokingly.
Earlier this week, UK publication The Sun reported that Will, 44, had opened up about Jaden's wish to be legally emancipated from his parents, saying that "if kids just want to have command of their lives, I understand."
The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star shot down the reports on Tuesday's show, however, telling DeGeneres that he had simply "made a joke" during the interview, and then proceeded to pinch Jaden's cheeks.
"I mean…my baby boy, he's never leaving me, ever," he said with a laugh. "No emancipation for the Smith kids."
