Capriati arrest warrant

Capriati arrest warrant
Capriati arrest warrant, A lawyer for Jennifer Capriati on Friday denied a report that said the tennis Hall of Famer was the target of an arrest warrant in North Palm Beach Fla., on a charge she struck her ex-boyfriend.

The website Gossip Extra had reported it obtained a police report claiming Capriati hit ex-boyfriend Ivan Brannan several times in the chest at Oxygen Health and Fitness Gym in North Palm Beach on Feb. 14.

However, a lawyer for Capriati released a statement to TMZ, saying, "There is no arrest warrant for Jennifer Capriati. The case between Ms. Capriati and Mr. Ivan Brannan has not yet been assigned in Palm Beach County and has not been reviewed. The current facts being circulated by Mr. Brannan are an over exaggeration and the police report is one-sided in Mr. Brannan’s favor since they failed to get Ms. Capriati’s side of the story."

According to Gossip Extra’s Jose Lambiet, Capriati could be facing charges of battery and stalking stemming from the Valentine Day’s incident with Brannan.

This wouldn’t be the first time Capriati, 36, who won two Australian Opens and one French Open, has run into trouble with the law. Her past includes arrests on charges of shoplifting and possession of marijuana.

Gossip Extra reported that a yoga instructor intervened when Capriati was striking Brannan, who then ran into the locker room and called 911. Brannan, 28, is a former Florida State golfer.
