Ritchie arrived in the company of his model girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, who looked elegant in a simple black dress. Jude meanwhile was only too happy to mingle with the throng of excited fans who turned up to see him, even appearing to suggest a photo opportunity with some.

A Game of Shadows has performed relatively well after a slightly a disappointing start, which saw it take an estimated $40.2m in ticket sales on the opening weekend.
The original Sherlock Holmes film opened with $62.3million over Christmas weekend in 2009, but the muted performance of the sequel has been attributed to this year's 'austerity Christmas'.
