Alec Baldwin married 28-year-old Hilaria Thomas
The Catholic ceremony, performed by Reverend George Deas, also included readings in Spanish in recognition of Hilaria's upbringing in Spain.
The bride wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown with cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline accented with crystal buttons while the groom wore Tom Ford.
Alec's close pal Matthew Hiltzik confirmed the wedding news telling People magazine, "Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin were married this evening at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City with family and friends sharing in the joy of the occasion."
Guests included Alec's actor brothers Stephen and Billy, his daughter Ireland, his 30 Rock co-star Tina Fey, Woody Allen and Mariska Hargitay.
The wedding celebrations continued at a reception at New York University's Kimmel Center.
Details of the couple's nuptials were kept a secret right up until the big day, with the groom's brother Stephen Baldwin telling the New York Post earlier this week, "I'm going. I haven't been told the location yet. That's about all I can say, because he (Alec) can still kick my butt."
In the days leading up to the wedding, the bride shared her happiness on Twitter. "Being a bride is stressful.... ayyyyyyy," Hilaria tweeted on 28 June.
On 29 June she wrote, "If I buy one bride magazine, which should it be?". Finally, a day before the wedding on Friday, she thanked the exercise program Physique57 for "making me bride ready, physically and mentally!"
This is Alec's second marriage. In 1993, he married Kim Basinger, the mother of teenager Ireland, but they divorced in 2002.
