Poker champ arrested, A former World Series of Poker champion was arrested earlier this week in a prostitution sting in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Police tell HLN affiliate WTVD that Gregory Paul Raymer was one of six men apprehended as part of the sting. Raymer won the grand prize at the 2004 World Series of Poker, which was $5 million. During the tournament, Raymer was known as "Fossil Man." He would have a fossil on the table while he played and wore sunglasses with reflective lizard eyes on the lenses.
According to the World Series of Poker, Raymer has claimed more than $6.5 million in total winnings. Raymer is married with one child.
