It figures to be happening in Windermere, where Dallas Mavericks guard Vince Carter will host a $30,000-a-person dinner party and fundraiser for the Barack Obama Victory Fund on Thursday night.
“This event is a once in a life time event,” celebrity lawyer John Morgan, Carter’s co-host, said an email invitation to friends. He promised a “very small dinner with some of the greatest basketball players of all time.”
Morgan added that that includes present and future Hall of Famers as well as “some musical superstars.”
