2012 Acc Tournament Bracket

2012 Acc Tournament Bracket, The ACC Tournament 2012 bracket is down to the final game. The championship will feature Florida State vs. North Carolina on Sunday with the ACC game live streaming in addition to being shown on television!

The ACC Championship live game will be seen streaming online through the WatchESPN service. Also, college basketball fans can watch the Tarheels and Seminoles battle it out on television on ESPN. Dick Vitale is likely to be on hand for this final game of the regular season for the two teams as they prepare for the Big Dance. Florida would like nothing more than to upset the top-seeded Tarheels before the NCAA tournament live games start up next week.

On Selection Sunday, both of these ACC teams will be in the overall field, but first they have to battle one another. So how did they get to the finals? On Saturday, UNC survived a scare by outlasting North Carolina State in the first game of the semifinals. Thanks to a fadeaway jumper by Kendall Marshall, UNC advanced to the final game with a 69-67 win. In the second game, Florida State was able to hold off Duke at the end in an upset, winning 62-59. The Blue Devils nearly made a last second three pointer to send the game to OT, but a third Duke versus Carolina showdown was not meant to be.

Instead it will be FSU taking their place in the championship round. Florida State has been called a dangerous team heading into the upcoming 2012 NCAA Tournament. However, North Carolina has been surging as of late, and they rank in the top 5 in the nation in points, rebounds, and assists per game. That gives the Seminoles a tall task of trying to dismantle one of the teams that will be a #1 seed once Selection Sunday specials air. However, if they can manage the upset it will give them some serious momentum as they move on to the next phase of March Madness.
