Toddlers & Tiaras Lawsuit, Toddlers and Tiaras mother sues $30 million, THE mother of a “Toddlers and Tiaras” star filed a $30 million lawsuit in New York against the owners of three news outlets that ran articles that “brazenly sexualize” the five year old.


Isabella Barrett, who was featured on the controversial TLC show about young beauty pageant contestants, was videotaped in a Manhattan event space two weeks ago singing along to the LMFAO hit “I’m Sexy and I Know It.”

“The articles brazenly attempt to sexualize” the girl, “falsely claiming that she was gyrating in a nightclub and singing about her sex appeal,” according to the suit, which was filed yesterday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

They also “falsely claim” that Isabella’s mother, Susanna, “acted as a disc jockey and fed her daughter lyrics … ‘enjoying the raucous event far more than her bemused looking child.’”

In reality, the suit says, the charity event was at a restaurant, not a nightclub; the girl was sitting, not gyrating; and the person egging her on to sing some of the words was the DJ, not her mom.
