Team Snooki Boxing announced its first event featuring The Hyland Brothers, three brothers from Ireland. It will be the first time the brothers will all fight on the same card in the U.S.
Patrick "Pajo" Hyland, Eddie Hyland and Paul Hyland are all boxing champions in their native Ireland.
The "Irish Invasion," as it's being called, will take place in Atlantic City, N.J., on Jan. 28, 2012 at the Resorts Casino Hotel.
Their training will be conducted by two time World Champion, Tracy Patterson and their father, Paddy, who has trained all three since birth.
What is Snooki's role in the whole production? She's the promoter.
The Bleacher Report suggested that having Snooki as promoter will create some drama for the event. And as a boxing promoter, having her name attached will do just that, as anyone who has seen the "Jersey Shore" can vouch. Snooki announced the project on "The Boomer and Carton Show" radio show on earlier this month.
