Around 9:00 p.m. on January 4, 2012, an unknown male suspect wearing a gray hoodie covering his face walked into the Busy Bubbles laundromat located at 3397 Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven, walked up to the change machine, and fired a semi-automatic handgun at it in an attempt to break open the machine. After being unsuccessful, the suspect fled the scene on foot. When the business manager saw the damage done to the machine, she reviewed the video and saw the shooting, and then contacted PCSO.
The suspect, who can be seen here in video surveillance, is described as a black male, approximately 5’11″ tall, 185 lbs., wearing a gray hoodie and dark baggy pants.
