TLC T-Boz bankruptcy, tlc t boz bankruptcy Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, who with the hip-hop/R&B trio TLC sold tens of millions of albums in the 1990s and won four Grammy Awards, has declared bankruptcy.

Watkins, 41, filed last month, TMZ.com reported Monday, saying court documents showed she owes creditors $768,642.99, mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million home. The filing declared she earns $11,700 a month, including $1,200 in royalties, and has $8,821 monthly expenses.

She is, however, owed $250,000 in child support, the documents claim. Watkins has a daughter, Chase Anela, with rapper Dedrick "Mack 10" Rolinson, whom she married in 2000.

She filed for divorce three years later, saying he had committed adultery and had threatened to kill her.

In 2005, Watkins and stylist Tara Roundtree opened a Houston, Texas, children's boutique named Chase's Closet, after Watkins' daughter. lisa lopes killed car

TLC, consisting of Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, recorded such hits as the platinum singles "Baby-Baby-Baby," "Creep" and "Waterfalls." Lopes was killed in a car crash in 2002.

Watkins' attorney did not return TMZ's call for comment.
