Michelle Obama and guinness record, US First Lady Michelle Obama is seeking to get her name in the Guinness Book of World Records when she joins about 20,000 participants to become the “most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.”The National Geographic Kids instituted the program and Michelle Obama has decided to lend her support by doing jumping jack for one minute. Childhood obesity is a major problem in the United States because it is blamed for several health conditions. Major restaurants and children food manufacturers have come under pressure in recent times for the content of the products that they bring out.
The National Geographic Kids says several Washington D.C. schoolchildren will take part in the program which will take place on the South Lawn on Tuesday. Officials of the Guinness Records will be present to supervise the program and it will need to pass the official requirements to be considered into the record book.
