Bjork feared for voice
The Big Time Sensuality hitmaker was told by medics she had lumps in her throat while on tour in 2008 but she refused to have surgery to correct the condition.
She admits she feared the illness would permanently damage her singing voice, but she managed to preserve her vocals by performing delicate stretching exercises over three years. Bjork feared for voice,
Bjork tells Mojo magazine, "When I discovered I had nodules on my voice, I didn't know if I would sing again, at least, not as I used to. I didn't wanna have an operation, so I saw all these experts and started this process, exercises that slowly stretch out the vocal cords."
