Trends Gone Wrong. Trends are always tricky to master at first. But if you're a celeb like Kristen Bell or Whitney Port and wear a new-ish style unsuccessfully, you'd best be prepared! Because unfortunately, your fashion faux pas will not go unnoticed. So which stars caught our attention for bad trend-sporting this summer? Keep clicking to find out!
Summer Trend: Floral print.
Offense: Well, for starters MK's dress is totally ill-fitting! Because it's so sloppily cinched, one side of her hemline appears higher than the other. Combine that with her messy 'do, and it looks like she just rolled out of bed! And don't even get us started on that clashing drawstring bag of hers…
Summer Trend: Ombré.
Offense: We heart Kristen, and she's pulled off ombré fabulously in the past. But we're not fans of this particular dress because the burst of green color just looks plain weird! When picking an ombré piece of clothing, make sure the dip-dyed color is pretty and gradual -- not bold and two-toned.
Summer Trend: Summer scarf.
Offense: Light, summer scarves are all the rage! Whether you go textured or silky, they're a stylin' addition to any outfit. However, just keep in mind that no matter how much you may love your scarf it's an accessory. And as such, it should not completely engulf your outfit as it does in Heidi's case! Wrap your scarf around your neck or else it may just gobble you up.
Summer Trend: Blunt bangs.
Offense: Oy. We love you, Raven, but what the heck did you do to your hair? Blunt bangs are trendy, but they should not in any way impair your vision. Note to Raven: visit your hairstylist ASAP and have them trim those up, so they're above your pretty peepers!
Summer Trend: Art prints.
Offense: Artsy prints are fun and unique! Whether you go stenciled or spray-painted, splashy clothing is definitely cool. Just try not to overdo it like Minnie did, and attempt to mix too many trends at once: the jewels on her dress have got to go!

Summer Trend: Pink lips.
Offense: Pink lip gloss is a surefire way to add a summer glow. Unless of course, your skin is white as a ghost's! We support Evan's foray into Goth make-up, but seriously -- is she trying to look like her BF, Marilyn Manson? Or maybe his ex, Dita VonTeese? Scaaary. We much prefer Evan's usual, more natural look. To pull-off her pink pucker the right way, face highlighter, blush, and minimal eye make-up are musts!
Summer Trend: Textured hair.
Offense: Textured hair is hot for summer! However, we think that Natasha took this trend overboard. Instead of just going with messy, loose waves and maybe a braid or two, she added a beehive as well! She may have been going for a rockin' hairstyle, but to us it looks like a 'do only Frankenstein's wife would wear.

Summer Trend: Black lace.
Offense: Black lace is lovely, but on Camp Rock's Anna Maria it just looks tacky! Shrugs are so yesterday. And the Minnie Mouse booties aren't helping the situation, either. What do you think of her outfit?
Summer Trend: Gladiators.
Offense: Tall, black gladiators are too-cute! However, right now the trend is to wear 'em with chic dresses -- not black ankle skinnies. Charlize is beautiful no matter what, but her outfit from the MTV Movie Awards is unflattering and un-trendy.
Summer Trend: Maxi dress.
Offense: Hippie-chic maxi dresses are divine, but the muumuu style of Nicole's dress is a bit much! Personally, we think it looks like a real "drag" to wear, too. Nicole is usually so spot-on with her style we're surprised that she chose to wear what looks like floral curtains. How 'bout you?
Summer Trend: Side pony.
Offense: Hmm. Side ponies are sweet, but when hair extensions are involved you've gotta be careful! Just look at Rumer's 'do for proof. You can totally tell where her real hair ends and the extensions start (a hair accessory like a flower might have helped hide it). And overall, her 'do looks more lopsided than lovely.
