Heston Blumenthal reveals new girlfriend, Meet my famous friends! Heston Blumenthal debuts girlfriend Suzanne Pirret at Jonathan Ross' Halloween party.

They didn't have the easiest start to their relationship, dating shortly after he announced his split from his wife following 20 years of marriage.

But last night Heston Blumenthal decided to take the step of introducing girlfriend Suzanne Pirret to his famous friends at Jonathan Ross' annual Halloween party.

The pair posed up outside Ross' house looking happier than ever, with Blumenthal putting his arm proprietorially around Pirret's waist as they smiled for waiting photographers.

While celebrity chef Blumenthal kept things simple with his Halloween outfit, simply adding fake blood, vampire teeth and red contact lenses to his smart black suit, Pirret looked stunning in a green maxi dress.

The 45-year-old American cookery writer teamed her low cut emerald gown with spooky contact lenses and fangs to match Blumenthal's.

It was revealed earlier this year that Blumenthal had started dating Pirret after splitting from wife Zanna.

Blumenthal is now believed to have moved out of the family home in Buckinghamshire.

He has three teenage children with Zanna and when the separation was announced in August, a family friend said: ‘The split has been on the cards for a while.

‘They have been talking about their relationship for months.

‘Zanna knows all about Suzanne and so do the children now. It is still very early days for Heston and Suzanne.’

Miss Pirret has been billed as a ‘goddess’ by critics after writing The Pleasure Is All Mine: Selfish Food for Modern Life.

The brunette, whose work has included a stint as a pastry chef at Jamie Oliver’ s restaurant Fifteen, poses lasciviously on the cover of the book in a clinging white dress.

And in a statement that showed just how she would have wooed Mr Blumenthal, Miss Pirret once said: ‘Food and sex. Two of my favourite things, and the most powerful of all human drives.

‘Best one after the other in either order, I’m not picky.’

The self-taught chef, who has a £1million, two-year deal with Channel 4 and appears in Waitrose TV adverts, has become renowned for his adventures in so-called molecular gastronomy, including his famous snail porridge and mustard ice cream.

He bought the Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire, in 1995 after scraping enough money together to buy the 450-year-old tumbledown pub.
