Sarah Michelle Gellar began acting before starting kindergarten, appearing in various made for television movies, commercials, and series, including “An Invasion of Privacy”, “Spenser: For Hire”, and “Swans Crossing”. She played the popular role of Kendall Hart on “All My Children from 1993-1995.
She graduated from LaGuardia School for the Performing Arts the same year she ended her run with “AMC”. She was subsequently cast in the role that would make her a worldwide star as Buffy Summers on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. The show ran for seven successful seasons and spawned the spin-off, “Angel”. She has also appeared in various films including “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Cruel Intentions”, “The Grudge”, and “Southland Tales”. She is currently starring in the new series, “The Ringer”, which will begin airing on the CW in September 2011.
