Teen Mom star DUI
The 21-year-old single mom – who was tagged in a photo on Facebook drinking beer at a bar – was pulled over in Omaha, Nebraska, around 1 a.m. after she allegedly made a wide turn … and nearly struck a police cruiser. After police pulled her over, Abraham blew a .147 on a breathalyzer, which is nearly the twice the legal limit in the state.
But the aspiring model-actress (who got a nose job and chin implant last October) has plenty to say on the matter. Just after 5 p.m. on Monday, she tweeted, "HAVING THE BEST DAY EVER!! :) #Love #LIFE." (We're assuming this is not in relation to her arrest.)
On Wednesday, following reports of her DUI, she tweeted, "It's Amazing what people believe & makeup (LOVE MY LIFE) #Thank#God #I'mSuccessful & I don't care about drama! #HaveAGreatDay."
Omaha is just outside Abraham's hometown of Council Bluffs, Iowa. It's unclear if she was just visiting or if she has moved from South Florida, where she had been living with her 4-year-old daughter Sophia since the 2011 filming of the fourth and final season of her MTV show. In an interview with omg! last June, the reality star admitted that living in the Sunshine State wasn’t all that it seemed.
"People are always in and out, lots of vacationers, spring breakers," Abraham explained. "It's a great, fun place, but honestly it's hard to have friends that are living there consistently because they're there, then they're gone."
She also said the distance from her parents, who live in Iowa, was rough not only on them, but also Sophia. "I know she misses them," acknowledged Abraham. "She tells me, 'I want grandma, I want grandpa.' She'll always bring it up."
