It's Week 2 of "Dancing With the Stars," and that means a generous helping of the jive, some quick work of the quickstep, and … what's that? Did someone say jazz?

For viewers who missed last week's contemporary-infused kickoff, the new season of the long-running ABC dance competition has brought on two new dance styles, the first additions to the roster since Season 9. Last season, contemporary and jazz dances were featured only one time: during those wacky theme-week combos (who can forget Apolo and Karina's big top jazz, which had Cirque du Soleil colliding with "A Clockwork Orange"?), but this season they're back with a vengeance.

With new dances, new music, and, for some, new attitudes, Week 2 featured fewer jitters and more generosity -- from the judges, that is. (OK, so they didn't exactly break out the "10" paddles yet, but they'll get there. Baby steps.)
