Lucy Lawless sentenced
The eight boarded an oil exploration ship at Port Taranaki last February, trying to stop the vessel from leaving to explore in Arctic waters.
They were initially charged with burglary but pleaded guilty in Auckland District Court last June after the charges were downgraded to unlawfully boarding a ship.
Sentencing has been delayed numerous times since, due to negotiations with Shell, which is attempting to claim $700,000 reparation.
