Birth Control Recall, Federman & Sherwood Announces That Pfizer Recalls 1 Million Packages of Birth Control Pills Because of Packaging Error. Federman & Sherwood, representing consumers and patients nationwide with respect to pharmaceutical drug liability and recalls, announces a recall by Pfizer Inc. [NYSE: PFE] of 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablet packs and 14 lots of generic Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets, both manufactured by Pfizer and marketed in the United States by Akrimax Rx Products under the Akrimax Pharmaceuticals brand. The lots in question have expiration dates ranging from July 31, 2013 through March 31, 2014.
