Netflix England Ireland, Netflix this morning said it reached a new digital licensing agreement that will allow the company to stream a range of BBC programming to customers in the U.K. and Ireland. The agreement is effective in early 2012, which is when Netflix will launch service in those countries.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company already offers a variety of BBC programming to customers in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
NFLX this morning is up $1.10, or 1.6%, to $68.25.
