Etta James Rushed to Hospital, James, 73, currently suffers from Hepatitis C, dementia and an incurable form of final-stage leukemia. Dr. Elaine James, James' caretaker, recently revealed that James had been placed under 24-hour medical care at her home in Riverside, Calif. after the leukemia was declared incurable back in January.
CNN tweeted: "An update on Etta James: Her manager tells CNN that she's been taken to the hospital - her husband and sons are with her."
According to Zap2It.com, her husband, Artis Mills, and sons, Donto and Sametto, are currently at odds over how to manage James' care and her fortune.
