Man surfs world's biggest wave, Mcnamara biggest wave, Multiple media outlets are claiming this Portuguese wave of Garrett McNamara‘s as “the biggest wave ever ridden” and there’s talk of it being entering the Guinness Book Of World Records where it would replace Mike Parsons’ Cortes Bank bomb as the largest wave ever ridden. While it’s a remarkably large wave, ‘biggest ever’ is quite a claim and it’s kinda hard to measure from the vantage point it was filmed at…what do you think?
