London's girlfriend, whose name has not been released, called the Palm Springs Police Department on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., according to published reports, after an argument the two were having regarding custody over their child turned violent.
She claims that the 39-year-old London, who has appeared in Party of Five, Mallrats and 7th Heaven, assaulted her outside her Palm Springs home. Sgt. Kyle Stjerne said that the woman had minor injuries.
"This is a false allegation and we understand that the police have to follow protocol in issuing and arrest warrant – standard when any woman files a complaint of domestic abuse," London's rep said in a statement to People. "However, no such abuse occurred and these allegations will soon be proven false."
"Jeremy's legal counsel is cooperating with authorities and a factual account of the incident is on record," Friesen's statement continues. "We anticipate Jeremy to be cleared of any wrongdoing as he continues to enjoy fatherhood and embrace sobriety."
London's attorney also denied to the Associated Press that the girlfriend's claims were true.
London has appeared on VH1's Celebrity Rehab reality series with Dr. Drew Pinsky to deal with his relationship and addiction troubles. He was also kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to use drugs in 2010.
