Eva Longoria slams Tea Party

Eva Longoria slams Tea Party, Actress Eva Longoria was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night where she chit chat with host Jimmy Kimmel about the end of her hit drama “Desperate Housewives,” her recent trip to Spain where she had a rather unique culinary experience eating a 40 course meal that lasted 7 hours and her undying support for President Obama.


Eva Longoria slams Tea Party. Longoria who recently divorced husband and basket ball player Tony Parker praised and defended Obama during the entire interview and took the opportunity to blast the Tea Party calling them comical.

The star who recently attended a star studded 18k a plate fundraiser where she met the president told the comedian:

“It’s a special privilege to meet our commander-in-chief, I’m a big Obama supporter no matter what he’s been through — he’s been beaten up the past couple of years.He’s been very receptive for me, I’m a big advocate for Latino issues, and so he’s been a big listener and he’s done a lot of coalitions and round tables regarding what we want changed.”

As an Obama supporter it was more than normal for Miss Longoria to tackle the leader’s loudest critics – the Tea Party members who often refer to him as a social or a Nazi. The entertainer added:

“He keeps getting beat up lately because there’s such an extremist movement, and for me, it’s very dangerous because its not the character of America.The Tea Party is good for comedy.”
