Bat on a plane DeltaA US flight had to be diverted after a flying creature - believed to be a bat - began flapping around the cabin. Where's Samuel L. Jackson when you need him? The Delta Air Lines flight had been on its way from Madison, Wisconsin to Atlanta when the creature started flying around.

As this footage shows, it did several laps of the plane causing panic among passengers and the pilot to turn the plane around and head back to the departure airport.

On the way there, the critter was captured after flying into the toilets - though officials were unable to find it on a search of the plane once it had landed… it probably didn't want a TSA pat-down.
A spokesperson for Delta Air Lines said they were unable to confirm whether the creature had been a bat or bird.
