Paris Hilton Good Morning America

Paris Hilton Good Morning America. Celebutante Paris Hilton walked out of a "Good Morning America" interview Wednesday, offended when asked if her moment in the spotlight had ended.

ABC correspondent Dan Harris asked the hotel heiress about her relevance in the sea of reality stars like the Kardashian sisters and the "Jersey Shore" crew, in an interview taped at Hilton's Los Angeles home.

Her latest stab at reality TV, in "The World According to Paris," has posted low ratings and failed to gain the attention of her TV debut on "The Simple Life" in 2003, prompting Harris to ask Hilton "if her moment has passed."

Visibly annoyed by the perceived affront on her cachet, Hilton shifted in her chair and looked away from the interviewer and toward her publicist.

"Do you want to wrap up?" Harris asked her, trying to smooth over the awkward moment.

Without responding, the 30-year-old got up and engaged in a "heated conversation" with her publicist, Harris said about the off-camera confab.

"I've been in this business for 15 years now so it's been a very long time and just like any other business person or someone in the industry it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects," a calmer Hilton said when she resumed the interview and hugged it out with Harris.

Though Hilton's TV success is questionable, her publicist said Hilton is busy overseeing a fragrance empire valued at $1 billion, in addition to an apparel and handbag line.

"I like to be able to do whatever I want, to buy whatever I want and to not have to ask for permission from my parents like I've seen from some of my other friends. They're adults but they live like children," the eldest daughter of Rick and Kathy Hilton said about the source of her ambition.
