Barron Hilton to pay millions for DUI crash
Barron Hilton to pay millions for DUI crash. PARIS HILTON's younger brother Barron has been ordered to hand over a massive $4.9 million to a gas station attendant he allegedly struck with his car on the night he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).The then-18-year-old hotel heir was arrested in Malibu, California in 2008 after he was found to be nearly two times over the legal alcohol limit. He pleaded no contest to a charge of DUI and was sentenced to three years' probation and banned from driving for one year.

Gas station employee Fernando Mendoza Tellez filed suit against Hilton in 2009, demanding damages for the severe injuries suffered and the "multiple surgeries and medical procedures" he has been forced to undergo ever since the alleged incident. Tellez's lawyer also claims his client has been left with a "permanent disability" as a result of the reported crash.

And Tellez is now set for a huge pay day - a Los Angeles County Superior Court jury ruled in his favor on Friday (15Jul11) and demanded Hilton pay up, according to TMZ.com.
