earthquake missouri. A light earthquake shook parts of eastern Missouri Tuesday morning.

The United States Geological Service says the earthquake was centered about 14 miles east of Sullivan in Franklin County.

KSSZ radio reports that the earthquake was felt about 3:10 a.m. Tuesday in Columbia, Jefferson City and St. Louis.

KSDK reports that the Franklin County Sheriff's Office says it was flooded with calls about the earthquake but received no reports of damages or injuries.

The Kirkwood Police Department says it got at least a half-dozen calls from people who say the ground shook.
